Overview - Women's Chorus - Men's Chorus - Armonia - Madrigals - Opera Scenes / AP Music Theory

The Men's Chorus is comprised of intermediate and advanced-level singers. Under the direction of Ms. Linda Martin, students learn the basics in vocal technique while singing a variety of choral pieces. As Men's Chorus celebrates our third anniversary, we look forward to bringing you our best performances ever. We have an exciting agenda planned, including our spring trip to Nashville where we will be taking part in international competition. Having been ranked eleventh in the nation, our goal is to make it into the top ten. As we enter another year, Men's Chorus welcomes you and hopes to see you in October for our Halloween themed concert!

All singers will work hard to make a year's worth of improvement over their skill level, and the group will grow in musicianship, cohesion and sensitivity throughout the year.  Continued strengthening of vocal technique, sight-singing and music theory contributes to polished performances of music from a variety of styles and periods. These choirs perform at all Choral Department concerts, District Festivals, Competitions and end-of-the-year events.  Advanced-level members are expected to audition for District Chorus in the fall, and intermediate-level members are encouraged to do so as well.  Advanced students are required to rehearse after school on the last Wednesday of every month from 5:00-6:30 pm, and to audition for solos.  Advanced members are graded more stringently than intermediate students, as outlined in the class syllabus.
